WARNING: extremely long entry zone!
2009 was an amazing year! I feel so bad for not being the best blogger so this is me trying to make up for my lack of posts. Some of the things that made 2009 an unforgettable time in my life:

I was half-way done with my freshman year and loving my life. Wow, I can't believe it's been a whole year since then!

Mary Kate and Mikey's concert they performed for the family

Brady Came to DC

The Fairfax 4-miler with Andrew

My favorite missionary came home from Italy!

The month of LOOOOOVE. I spent "Valentimes Day" in California with some wonderful roommates!

Ready to make the 10 hour trip to Jessica's house in Covina

At the Cal State Fullerton baseball stadium. I loved being in California and it was so nice of Jess and her family to have us!

Back in Provo at Bombay House for my darling roommate Anna's 19th birthday

Anna and I were involved in a photoshoot of sorts by our friend Alex Vaughn who is an AMAZING photographer. I loved living in Chipman Hall with Anna. She's the best roommate and friend I could ask for!

March was a regular month. Lots of random fun BYU stuff took place during this time. It was MK's birthday but I wasn't home to celebrate it!

Old picture but it's my sweet little Mary- I was sad missing her 13th birthday

I had been training for my second half marathon with Brady for months... it finally happened in April! We also moved out of the dorms but I stayed in Provo for spring semester. Tod and Danielle got married in April and it was such a happy day!

After our race with Ruth!

Anna and I saying goodbye to our home :(

Danielle and the girls on her big day

A month to remember. Staying for spring semester was one of the best decisions of the year. I had the time of my life with my roommates, took some awesome classes, became very close with friends, and even got to live in the ghetto- Glenwood. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

My roommates

It could be argued that we had too much fun.

I even got to go to Boston where I had VIP treatment the whole week!

Ran races

Arranged flowers for my floral design class

Visited Lynndyl- the best town in Utah

Said goodbye to my roommates :(

Went to my first rodeo! Now I can truthfully say "this ain't my first rodeo", which I'm really excited to do.

Came home and went downtown with Alan

Started working as a nanny and loved the heck out of it

Bonded with MK like crazy.

Jess came to visit!

Mikey got tall

Daddy-daughter date in DC

Tara came to visit!

Worked a lot, spent a lot of time with the family, did personal training with Mikey, and started up at BYU again!

Driving to the beach!

Mikey is a studcaptain

Beach with the fam. Happy birthday to Jess and Ma!

Back to Provo!

This month there was TONS of hiking. So much that pictures wouldn't do it justice. School was just starting so we had more time on our hands. Anna, Lisa, Jess and I moved in at Liberty Square where I could always count on a good late-night chat. I will always have good memories of fall semester because of those girls.

Anna and I hiking the Y. She's the best hiking partner. I live to hike.

Nathan and Jeff's 25 birthday! And dad's... 35th!

Attended many BYU football games

Lisa's birthday!

Poetry slam

I love Utah in the fall. The colors of the trees, the leaves are extra crunchy under my feet because it's so dry there, and it's perfect for... you guessed it! HIKING!

Even though we got a little lost, it didn't matter because the canyon looked stunning.

More BYU games

My favorite part of October: I got to come home for Homecoming weekend!

Alex Vaughn strikes again. She's building her photography portfolio and I was happy to help!

The always-planning Scott made a delicious dinner solely cooking in ramekins. Hence the name- Ramekin Night of Doom! It was a little spring reunion!

This is always my favorite month due to the weather, Thanksgiving, and of course my birthday! This was the best birthday of my life, and it's because my roommates made sure it would be. I got to run in my first triathlon and it was possibly the happiest I've ever been in my life. I had so much support from friends and family that by the end I couldn't contain myself! Anna and Lisa made me a sweet breakfast, we went hiking, I got chocolates in the mail from my ma, went out to dinner at Chili's and even got flowers that night from Jordan! A very happy day indeed. Tom had a very fun birthday party- it was a tribute to success. Awards and certificates were given for the success of everyone in attendance. For Thanksgiving break I was lucky enough to go to St. George with Jordan for a few days before I went to my Grandma and Grandpa's in Lynndyl. It was amazing!! His family treated me like gold, we went hiking, we spent time with lots of friends, and saw everything Southern Utah had to offer. Thanksgiving at Grandma's is never a let-down. I don't know how she does it. But I couldn't be more thankful that she does. All of my grandparents are amazing people. Anywho, that's a rap for November.

Running to the pool for the last leg of the race!

Besides diamonds, I think flowers are a girl's best friend, so thank you Jordan and Ruth!!

Me and Jordan at the top of Red Mountain by his house

Even though it took Tom, Nathan, Stephanie and I to get here, it's been so fun to have the whole family at home, including Jeff's fiance, Krista. Family is such a strength to me. I am so thankful for my family, my friends, my health and happiness, and most of all for the Gospel. I love it. The gospel and my family have made me the person that I am. It has been such a blessing to be at BYU and to have professors that teach with the spirit. I feel so blessed to have the knowledge of the gospel because it has guided me for my whole life. I love my family so much and I can't wait to see what 2010 has to offer!
